Cinnamon Rolls


Description

Here’s a classic cinnamon roll dough recipe that yields ultra-soft, pillowy results—plus a yeast-free option if you’re in a hurry.


Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast

  • 1 cup warm milk (100–110°F)

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • 1 egg + 1 egg yolk

  • ⅓ cup melted butter

  • ½ tsp salt


Instructions

  • Activate yeast in warm milk with sugar—let sit 5–10 min until foamy.

  • In a large bowl, mix flour and salt.

  • Add egg, yolk, butter, and yeast mix. Knead until smooth (8–10 min).

 

  • Cover and let rise 1–1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
