Description

A deliciously creamy, fresh, and easy crab salad recipe made with tender crab meat, crisp vegetables, and a zesty mayo-based dressing. Perfect for sandwiches, sushi rolls, or a chilled seafood side dish.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb lump crab meat (or imitation crab, chopped)

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • 2 stalks celery, finely chopped

  • ¼ cup red onion or green onion, diced

  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional)

  • ½ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tablespoon chopped dill or parsley

  • 1 hard-boiled egg, chopped (optional)


Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, mustard, Old Bay, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.

  • Fold in celery, onion, and fresh herbs.

  • Gently stir in crab meat and optional chopped egg.

  • Mix until evenly coated, cover, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

 

  • Serve chilled with crackers, in sandwiches, or on lettuce cups.
