Ingredients

  • 2 ribeye steaks (1.5-inch thick)

  • 2 tbsp canola oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed

  • 2 sprigs rosemary

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter

  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  • Let steak sit at room temp for 30 mins

  • Season with salt & pepper

  • Heat pan until smoking, sear 3 mins/side

  • Add butter, garlic, rosemary; baste

 

  • Rest steak 5 mins before slicing

Notes

Ideal doneness is medium-rare at 135°F internal
